TUITION SUPPORT OPTIONS... FOR DONORS & APPLICANTS

St. Michael Parish School families have multiple opportunities for financial support in choosing a Catholic education for their children. For applicants, the process begins by filling out an application through FACTS Management (our tuition payment platform). All applications are collected, reviewed, and submitted to St. Michael Parish School. Simply create a user name and password to begin. Requests should be made by the March 1st deadline. An additional option is available through the State's Empower Illinois program, which offers tax incentives for donors and partial or up to 100% scholarships for applicants (details below).

Has someone ever lifted you during a down time? Been your bridge to the other side of a difficulty? All our lives changed dramatically these past months due to the world health crisis of COVID-19. As a member of our community, you know how special the environment and education are at St. Michael. We want our students to stay with their friends, their teachers, their faith families, their big & little buddies, their teammates, their classes, and their church . We want their learning, formation, and growth to stay on track. That is why we turn to you today, asking our community to help. TUITION ASSISTANCE FROM THE CATHOLIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION

The Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) provides tuition assistance to the most financially deserving students attending Catholic elementary and high schools within the Diocese of Joliet in Illinois. Applications for the CEF are also through the FACTS Management site, and will bereviewed, processed, andsentto us here at St. MichaelParish School.

TAX CREDIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

In 2017, with bipartisan support, the Illinois House and Senate passed a comprehensive education funding bill which was signed into law by the Governor. The bill included a five-year program for Tax Credit Scholarships (TCS) for students in private schools that will create more equity in school funding throughout Illinois. This “Invest in Kids Act” is a new way to fund scholarships for children who choose to attend Illinois Catholic schools. Scholarships offered through this program have the potential to cover up to 100 percent of tuition for a year at St. Michael Parish School.
